  9. Embossing technique

    Happy Birthday Card

    Birthday Card HB003

For this card I’ve chosen a square-shaped folded card in ivory.

To bring some structure to the background I used a tooth brush with liquid acrylic color for aquarelle-like painting in black. All colors used got a little patch on the bottom of the card.

I made cards with different colors.

    My tools & products:
    Cardstock in ivory
    Stamp “Flowers”
    Embossing Ink clear
    Embossing powder black
    Heat gun
Liquid acrylic in black, red & yellow
    Stamp “Happy Birthday”
    Stamp pad in red

  10. Ladybug Birthday

    February 12, 2010 by andrea

I bought the ladybug stamp in Germany many years ago. This kind of stamp is produced for children to have fun with stamping. This greeting card is very easy to customize. For this reason I had chosen this sample for my volunteer card making afternoon at the Day Care Centre in Millstreet.

    HB009

A little group of women came together to create greeting cards with me for four weeks. We had a lot of fun! I had the opportunity to show different techniques: stamping, embossing, punching… Thanks Mary, Manager from the Day Care Centre in Millstreet!

    Card stock in yellow

    Stamp “leaves”

    Stamp “Ladybug”

    Stamp “Happy Birthday”
